St. Johns County Commissioners Ron Sanchez, Cyndi Stevenson and Ron Morris with Christian Kuhn, Director of Development for RiverTown

The RiverTown community celebrated the completion of its signature Riverfront Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday. Members of the St. Johns County Commission and Chamber, along with the RiverTown team and park architects, were on-hand for the event. Riverfront Park is one of the signature elements of the community that highlights RiverTown’s connection to nature and the river.

“Riverfront Park was designed to preserve this natural area for generations and create a community connection to the St. Johns River,” said Christian Kuhn, Director of Development for RiverTown. “Riverfront Park is an important asset for all of St. Johns County where residents and visitors can enjoy walking and jogging trails along the riverfront and throughout the park.”

Riverfront Park is now open to the public seven days a week from dawn to dusk. Located along approximately one mile of the St. Johns River, the park encompasses nearly 58 acres of natural areas and canopy trees, walking and jogging trails along the riverfront and throughout the park, a fishing pier, waterfront overlook areas and a restroom pavilion. The park was designed and constructed by ELM, Dunn & Associates and Edwards Construction.

Riverfront Park is located at 88 Riverfront Trail in St. Johns. Find out more by visiting www.RiverTownFlorida.com or by calling (904) 361-6820.
