Roy’s Eighth Annual Event Raises $42,000 For The Monique Burr Foundation For Children

Hundreds of guests turned out for the Monique Burr Foundation for Children, Inc.’s annual “A Night in the Village” event. Hawaiian fusion cuisine by celebrity chef Roy Yamaguchi, tropical drinks and live fire dancing set the scene at the at Roy’s restaurant in Jacksonville Beach as the celebration, which has become one of Northeast Florida’s most widely attended charity events, raised $42,000 for the foundation and its programs.

Enterprise Florida President Gray Swoope Tours St. Johns County

The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Enterprise Florida President Gray Swoope to St. Augustine for an economic development mission tour. The tour, in cooperation with the St. Johns County Commission, the St. Johns County Industrial Development Authority and Northeast Florida Regional Airport Authority, enabled Swoope to meet with area economic development leaders at the Chamber’s headquarters in St. Augustine before touring relocation sites and the Rulon Co. at World Commerce Park.
