Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty is kicking off the holiday season with “Illuminate the Night,” a special event on Thursday, Nov. 30.

The event will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Tim’s Wine Market, located in the SeaGrove Town Center on State Road A1A in St. Augustine Beach. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty is inviting clients, business partners and the public to attend.

“Illuminate the Night” will feature a short program with Mantanzas Riverkeeper Neil Armingeon and Jen Lomberk, who will succeed Armingeon as Matanzas Riverkeeper in December.

“Most notable cities are located near water, and our community has incredibly beautiful and historically significant waterways that support numerous habitats,” said Ann King, Broker/Manager of the company’s St. Augustine Beach and Murabella offices. “We are fortunate to have the Matanzas as part of our community and we look forward to hearing more about the Riverkeeper’s efforts to protect and advocate on behalf of this precious natural resource.”

Following the program, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices will unveil details about a special holiday event with proceeds benefitting the Matanzas Riverkeeper. The inaugural St. Augustine Beach Luminaria will be held on Sunday, Dec. 17, beginning at dusk. Official Luminaria kits will be available for $5 from the company’s St. Augustine Beach office, located at 112 SeaGrove Main St. in the SeaGrove Town Center. Luminaria kit proceeds in St. Augustine will be donated to the Matanzas Riverkeeper.

“Our team cares deeply about the community and is committed to community service,” said Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty Broker/Executive Vice President Christy Budnick. “Giving back to the community in which we live and work is an important component of our company culture.”
