Celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. with the Chamber Jan. 8

Martin Luther King Jr.The Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce will host its 23rd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast from 7 to 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 8 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.

Presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, the breakfast will feature keynote speaker Rodney L. Hurst Sr., acclaimed author of “It Was Never About a Hot Dog and a CokeTM: A Personal Account of the 1960 Sit-in Demonstrations in Jacksonville, Florida and Ax Handle Saturday.”

The annual breakfast is hosted by the City of Jacksonville, Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce, Jacksonville Urban League, NAACP – Jacksonville Branch, and Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
