Clockwork Marketing President Maxine McBride joined other top professional leaders April 7 for Bizwomen Mentoring Monday, an annual event nationwide for women hosted locally by the Jacksonville Business Journal.

The event at the University of North Florida featured a video presentation by Lori Greiner from the reality TV show “Shark Tank,” and drew about more than 100 area women seeking advice from experienced area leaders.

“My personal motto would be ‘do something every day that scares you,’” said McBride, who has run a public relations agency for about 20 years. “It builds character.”
