The 400+ women of Northeast Florida’s Women’s Giving Alliance (WGA) are proud to host the sixth national forum for women’s collective giving groups March 12-14, 2017 in Atlantic Beach. Thanks to a generous sponsorship from Stein Mart, the mementos that will be awarded to the organizations selected at the plenary session and dinner Monday night are being crafted by the glassblowing program at Jacksonville University, and will be in keeping with the overall conference theme:  Women Together, Making Waves.

WCGN’s Spotlight Awards celebrate transformational grantmaking and were introduced at the October 2015 Leadership Forum event in Charlotte, NC.  Any member organization can nominate a grant for an award.  Selections are made by an evaluation panel of five members, two selected by the national WCGN board, and three from northeast Florida’s WGA.

The awards will be presented at the plenary session over dinner at One Ocean Resort on Monday night, March 13, when Spotlight Speaker Teresa Younger, CEO of the Ms. Foundation for Women will also put a spotlight on issues of importance to women in the United States.
