We have exciting news to share! The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of North Florida (CFF) has hired Jim McCarthy as executive director for the organization.

McCarthy has more than 30 years of experience in management, business development, fundraising, public relations and government affairs. As executive director, he will lead the organization’s efforts devoted to controlling and curing cystic fibrosis (CF) through fundraising and awareness in North Florida.

“I am thrilled and excited to join the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which is making tremendous strides in CF research and care,” said McCarthy. “I look forward to working with the staff, chapter volunteers and families to move our mission forward.”

CFF of North Florida has a number of events scheduled for the fall including the Southern Oak Insurance Company “Kick Off to a Cure” Tailgate on Sept. 23 and The Oldest City Red Trout Classic Sept. 27-29.
