Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Raises $87,000 at 11th Annual 65 Roses Golf and Tennis Classic

We’ve got more good news to report on the nonprofit scene! The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of North Florida (CFF) announced it raised more than $87,000 at its 11th Annual 65 Roses Golf and Tennis Classic at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.

Golfers competed in a two-flight, four-man scramble format, based on handicap. Winners from the tournament included:

  • 1st Flight (gross) – Justin Kuehn, Curtis Dvorak, Carlos Wilcox and Robert Tilka.
  • 1st Flight (net) –  Mark Berman, Scott Yorko, Allen Ludecke and Randy Hackney
  • 2nd Flight (gross) – Dr. Jerry Bridgham, Larry Freeman, Amanda Kellum and Stewart Whitmore.
  • 2nd Flight (net) – Miles Votoba, Mark Muench, Joe Hughes and Mick Muench

In addition to a great day of golf, the event featured a women’s doubles tennis tournament which had a strong showing in its second year. Winners from the Tennis Tournament included:

  • Division 3 – Amy Prysock and Dori Kunkle
  • Division 2 – Lendy Callahan and Terri Holmes 
  • Division 1 – Susan Sneed and Diane Smowten.

Congratulations to the winners and to the North Florida Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for continuing to bring important awareness to such a great cause!
