Don’t Miss the February Downtown Art Walk

February Art Walk is upon us! Head out tonight from 5-9 p.m. – rain or shine! Thirty to 40 galleries, museums, cultural venues, restaurants, bars and businesses are participating and dozens of artists will be displaying work in the open air Hemming Plaza. This month’s highlights include:

  • AT&T Tower 301 and 122 Ocean: The Library Tickle the ivories on the City Keys Project pianos
  • Cafe 331 – Features live jazz/fusion/funk/percussion by Spongecake and the Fluff Ramblers
  • LIT Downtown – Don’t miss Kira Lamb and the “Ying and Yang” fire dancers
  • 111 E. Bay St. Studios – F13RCE Dance Theatre presents “Art, Music and Dance!” at 7:15 p.m. with guest musician, Goliath Flores from 6 to 8 p.m.
  • Daniel James Salon – Artists Lynnette Piper and Pavel Moraguez showcase symbolic paintings and life-changing stories
  • Burrito Gallery – Live music by Tropic of Cancer
  • Zodiac Bar & Grill – Hosts Jazz Night with the Eric Carter Jazz Band
  • Bee Gallery – Receive a complimentary women’s hairstyle by Holland
  • The Ivy Ultra Bar – Get “wild and styled” with Bella Hair Designs from 6 to 8 p.m.  Plus, Salsa Caliente performs at 9:30 p.m.
  • Florida Theatre – Features the AAF Jacksonville 2011 ADDY Viewing Gallery
  • Free Art Walk Limo Shuttle – Provided by Cafe 331 and Bella Limo
