Freedom Boat Club will be hosting a Blood Drive this weekend, along with an Open House at its main headquarters at Julington Creek Marina and an Open House at its newest location at Beach Marine in Jacksonville Beach.

On Saturday, June 23, Freedom Boat Club is hosting an open house and blood drive at Julington Creek Marina. The OneBlood bloodmobile will be set up from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each person who donates blood will receive a free t-shirt, 10 percent off at Metro Diner that day, a wellness checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening, plus a free boat ride. Donors can sign up for a donation time here. The open house will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes free boat rides and refreshments. Julington Creek Marina is located at 12807 San Jose Boulevard.

On Sunday, June 24, everyone is invited to visit the Freedom Boat Club at Beach Marine from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to enjoy free boat rides and refreshments. Beach Marine is located at 2315 Beach Blvd. in Jacksonville Beach. Guests can also check out Freedom Boat Club’s Jacksonville Beach office, which is a 2008 Somerset 70-foot houseboat that includes a huge upstairs space for events.

Freedom Boat Club’s Open House and New Boater Experience Day events are free and open to the public.
