• The City of Jacksonville Blues Festival will take place at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts from 8 p.m. to midnight

• The Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Cornerstone Quarterly Luncheon featuring guest speaker Gov. Rick Scott at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Saturday, March 12

• The 34^th Gate River Run, a 15K race with the largest participation in the country, will begin on Gator Bowl Boulevard between Jacksonville Municipal Stadium and Metropolitan Park at 8:30 a.m.
