Girl Scouts of Gateway Council announces 2018 summer camps. This year, Camp Kateri and North Fork will offer a variety of camp themes and activities. Camp registration is open through July.

Camp Kateri, near Gainesville, will host overnight camps for girls of varying ages to practice independence, test their ideas and try new things. At Camp Kateri, campers can participate in activities such as kayaking, arts and crafts, archery and more.

North Fork Leadership Center will be the site for traditional day camps with outdoor activities. Day campers can also opt for the STEM emphasis session, combining nature with science.

The North Fork campsite will host two-and three-night sampler camps with traditional camp activities.

With approval of the camp director, the Counselor in Training option is available for high school girls looking to mentor younger girls in a camp/outdoor setting this summer.
