Happy Thanksgiving!

November 25th, 2010 · Leave a Comment

The holidays are upon us so gather up your friends and family and make the most of Thanksgiving this year. There are events and treats to keep everyone entertained with full bellies. Here are a few things to do this holiday weekend:

Now through Dec. 2
Join the City of Jacksonville as holiday-themed windows will be unveiled to make downtown Jacksonville a magical place to explore, shop and dine this holiday season.
Friday, Nov. 26
Celebrate the holiday season with the annual Tree Lighting ceremony, holiday entertainment and fireworks over the St. Johns River at The Jacksonville Landing.
Saturday, Nov. 27
Whether you’re a seafarer or landlubber, you are sure to be dazzled by the annual Jacksonville Light Parade. The Light Parade has become a tradition for thousands of families and out-of-town guests who eagerly await the transformation of the St. Johns River. Admission is free.

There’s plenty to do to get in the spirit of the holidays and celebrate this jubilant time of year.  Happy Holidays!
