Jacksonville Public Library Shares Its New Strategic Plan for 2018-2020

October 28th, 2017 · Leave a Comment

The Jacksonville Public Library uses this plan to stay focused on the top priorities that help them provide the materials, services and opportunities that are needed.

In order to learn what is most important to Duval County residents, library officials created a special Strategic Plan Advisory Committee of community leaders, received responses to surveys from more than 3800 active library users and 500 people who hadn’t used the library in a while, held 15 focus groups and town hall-style meetings at 10 locations, talked with local businesses, met with city officials, and gathered feedback from the library staff members with in each of their 21 branches and at events throughout the county.

Look through the plan, share it with your families, friends, coworkers and colleagues. If you have any questions or suggestions, please call, write or stop by the Jacksonville Public Library. Your participation is the key to making this plan succeed.
