Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast–30th Annual Event

The City of Jacksonville is hosting a celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the 30th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast presented by Florida Blue at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center.

The event will feature Mayor Lenny Curry alongside an inspirational keynote speaker. Unlike previous years, the breakfast will precede the program. Breakfast will feature a self-serve buffet from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Guests are encouraged to network and explore community involvement opportunities during this time.

The program will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. with local Action News Jax anchor Tenikka Hughes with a Co-Youth Emcee Award winner. In addition to the keynote speaker, the program will include spotlights of the Tomorrow’s Leaders Award recipients.Tomorrow’s Leaders are recognized as individuals who exemplify the ideals and principles of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and excel in community volunteerism, leadership and civic responsibility.

Individual tickets and tables are now available. A table seats ten guests. Individual tickets are $40; tables are $400. Ticket sales will close Friday, Jan. 6, 2017.  For more information, call (904) 630-3690 or click here.
