As reported by the Jacksonville Business Journal, One Spark is accepting applications for creators for its 2017 festival. One Spark 2017 will be held Oct. 6 and 7 at the U.S. Assure Club West at EverBank Field.

One Spark encourages innovators and entrepreneurs looking for market validation, crowdfunding promotion and local connections to apply. Those interested can apply at OneSpark.com. The application period ends Sept. 8, 2017.

The festival will welcome up to 150 creators in four categories: EdSpark, TechSpark, HealthSpark and SocialSpark. It is free to apply, but accepted creators must pay $125 to participate.

Each zone will have a Spark Tank competition, wherein judges will select the top creator, who will be awarded $5,000 and a chance to compete in the Spark Tank Championship. The winner of the Spark Tank Championship will be awarded an additional $20,000 and named the festival’s Top Creator.

Tickets to attend the festival will cost $5 per ticket in advance or $10 at the event. Children 10 and under may enter for free.
