THE PLAYERS Announces Record Charitable Dollars Generated from 2011 Event

Updates from the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission

Two thumbs up to the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission (JEDC) on all of the progress they have made in enhancing downtown. Most visible progress has been made improving the attractiveness of downtown through improved streetscaping. The changes to Main Street are dramatic largely due to a landscaping and hardscaping plan along this major thoroughfare and the conversion of a dilapidated surface parking lot into a new pocket park.
