Mattamy Homes RiverTown is hosting the Hot Run in the Summertime 5K on Saturday, June 10, at 8 a.m. The 5K and one mile fun walk will begin and end at the RiverTown Welcome Center.

The 5K will be chip timed with finish line pictures and results on FloridaRaceDay.com. Awards for the 5K will be based on overall male and female winners and age group winners. Team awards are also in effect at this race. Teams may have up to four runners.

All children 10 and under will receive a free finishers medal. Children ages 7 and under may participate in the 5K or one mile fun walk for free with an accompanying adult. The cost to enter the 5K is $25 per person and $15 per person for the one mile fun walk. There will be refreshments and an awards program at the RiverHouse Amenity Center following the run.

A portion of the registration proceeds will be donated to Hugs Across the County, an organization that provides assistance to children who attend the St. John’s County public schools.
