RMHC

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Jacksonville, an organization that serves as a “home away from home” to families while their children receive needed medical care, is proud to announce it has earned a 4-star rating – the highest possible – from Charity Navigator, the largest independent charity evaluator in the United States.

RMHC’s strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency have contributed to earning the organization this top distinction. Only the most fiscally responsible organizations receive a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator.

“We congratulate our member, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville, on its achievement of a 4-star rating, putting it in a select group of nonprofits. Charity Navigator is one rating system that helps donors understand if a nonprofit adheres to good governance and other best practices to achieve their mission,” said Rena Coughlin, Chief Executive Officer of the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida.

Charity Navigator

Charity Navigator evaluates thousands of nonprofits each year. Only a quarter of the charities rated by Charity Navigator receive the 4-star rating.

“It is important that the public and our donors trust that we are using donations wisely to accomplish our mission,” said Diane Boyle, Executive Director, RMHC of Jacksonville. “Our 4-star rating from Charity Navigator demonstrates solid governance that exercises fiscal responsibility and operational excellence with transparency, integrity and honesty.”

The 4-star logo on RMHC’s website is a privilege reserved for charities, like RMHC, that have received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. RMHC’s rating and other information about charitable giving are available at www.charitynavigator.org.
