February 25th, 2018 · Leave a Comment

The historic nonprofit Florida Theatre is taking the party on the road, and throwing it back for Club 70s, a 1970s Saturday Night Fever inspired disco party, on Saturday, March 4, at 7 p.m., at 927 Events.

A limited number of $100 VIP early admission tickets, as well as $50 general admission tickets are on sale at floridatheatre.com. VIP ticket holders will have early access, beginning at 6 p.m.,  for Club 70s.

VIP ticket holders will receive a complimentary craft cocktail, private spirits tasting, complimentary cigar, a 1970s style TV dinner, and a special late-night, carryout surprise.

General admission ticket holders will enjoy spirits tasting, heavy appetizers, cash bar and access to cigars in the courtyard.

Inside 927 Events, disco music and hits of the 1970s, provided by DJ Rockrolla, will complete the nostalgic 1970s party atmosphere.

Party goers are encouraged to dig out their bell bottoms and channel their inner John Travolta.

Club 70s spirits tastings will be provided by Jacksonville’s Manifest Distilling, Amelia Island’s Marlin & Barrel Distillery, Carve Craft Vodka and St. Augustine Distillery.

Food inspired by the 1970s will be provided by Black Sheep, Restaurant, Orsay, Black Sheep at Intuition, Bellwether, BRIO Tuscan Grille, Hawkers Asian Street Fare, Clara’s Tidbits Restaurant & Catering, Burrito Gallery, Indochine and 927 Catering and Events.

A cash bar will be available throughout the night as well as cigars provided by Downtown Cigar Lounge out in the outside courtyard.

Florida Theatre preferred partner, AVL Productions, will assist in creating Club 70s. Sunny 102.3 is the Club 70s media sponsor.

The Florida Theatre’s 2018 season is sponsored by Community First Credit Union. For a complete list of upcoming season events, visit floridatheatre.com.
