The team of licensed, talented designers at Sisler Johnston Interior Design has added to its cadre of awards as an industry leader and involved member of the community.

The Jacksonville interior design firm is featured in the January 2010 issue of Jacksonville Magazine as one of Northeast Florida’s top Companies That Care. Sisler Johnston Interior Design was recognized for providing ongoing charitable support to numerous nonprofit organizations. Judith Sisler Johnston, president of Sisler Johnston Interior Design and ASID Allied Member, accepted the award at a luncheon Thursday at the Jacksonville Omni hotel.

“Giving is an honor and a privilege we take very seriously, and I truly appreciate the recognition from the community,” Sisler Johnston said.

The company has participated in several Builders Care projects, donating furnishings and home décor along with volunteers to renovate and outfit the homes and other facilities. The company also has supported a wide array of local organizations, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Angelwood, Dreams Come True and Calvary International Ministries.

Additionally, Sisler Johnston interior designer Jennifer Bean, ASID, was recently honored for her contributions to the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) Remodelers Council. Bean was recognized for serving on the Remodelers Council special outreach committee, which raised more than $2,200 for Builders Care and Angelwood. Bean will co-chair the special outreach committee this year with Sisler-Johnston Interior Design colleague Cheryl Martin.
