Supporting Workplace Health and Wellness Programs

The First Coast Worksite Wellness Council, an initiative of Healthy Jacksonville 2020, offers companies and wellness professionals many programs, education and resources to optimize their employee health and wellness programs.

FCWWC Free Quarterly Meeting: March 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Learn how to build an award-winning wellness program, boost current initiatives and receive recognition via two award programs – the Healthy Start Employer Award and Healthiest Companies Award. The meeting will review award programs and provide an environment for peer-to-peer sharing of what’s already successful within local First Coast organizations’ wellness programs.

The meeting is free and open to the public. It will be held at Florida State College at Jacksonville- Advanced Technology Center, 401 W. State St. in Jacksonville. Lunch will be provided. To register, click here.

Win $10,000 toward your Worksite Wellness Program

The FCWWC seeks to recognize outstanding leadership in local wellness professionals for developing a culture of health and well-being within their organizations. The Frank Barker Wellness Leader Award winner will receive $10,000 toward their employee wellness program. Nominator and nominee applications are due March 23, 2018.

The 10th Annual Worksite Wellness Conference

The 10th Annual Worksite Wellness Conference is April 25, at the University of North Florida- Adam W. Herbert University Center. The event features the Healthiest Companies Awards Luncheon recognizing local companies who are promoting health and well-being at their organizations.
