Duval County Public Schools Host “Discover Duval Schools” Tours; Next Stop is Darnell-Cookman on Jan. 23

The next scheduled Discover Duval Schools tour will be at Darnell-Cookman Middle/High School of the Medical Arts on Jan. 23 from 9 a.m. -11:30 a.m. Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about their medical magnet program and discuss school choice and magnet options.

Leadership Jacksonville Hosts ONE by ONE Program with Jacksonville Public Education Fund

Leadership Jacksonville, a program that develops youth and adult leaders in Northeast Florida, recently partnered with the Jacksonville Public Education Fund (JPEF) to host a ONE by ONE program. The ONE by ONE campaign is an unprecedented, city-wide initiative to bring together thousands of people in Jacksonville to create a shared vision for public education and work to make that vision a reality. Through structured discussions, such as the one hosted by Leadership Jacksonville, ONE by ONE aims to identify the priorities of the community and turn them into an action plan.
