April 29th, 2010 · Leave a Comment

Spring fashion, beautiful models and local celebrities ruled the night at the second annual THE PLAYERS Championship Fashion Cure, presented by Brady and Kathy Rackley and PRI Productions.

Linda Cunningham’s chic San Marco boutique set the backdrop for the fashion show and street party, which raised $30,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. More than 200 guests attended the event to honor local fashion plates Rochelle Proctor and Ward Lariscy while viewing spring collections from Linda Cunningham and Karl’s Clothier’s.

Guests to the event viewed the latest spring fashions on the outdoor catwalk, bid on silent and live auctions throughout the evening, and tried their luck at casino-style games presented by PRI Productions. Chefs for a Night provided the evening’s food and Bold City Brewery and Constellation Wines served up signature drinks. Katelyn Sims, a young woman with cystic fibrosis, gave a touching speech during the evening to kick off the foundation’s Bid For a Cure.

Charlene Shirk emceed the event alongside Al Emerick who introduced and cheered on celebrity models including Mary Baer, Richard Nunn, Ashley Coleman, Bryan and Leah Barker, and Mike Hightower to name a few. Sponsors for The Fashion Cure included THE PLAYERS Championship, PRI Productions, Brady and Kathy Rackley, Tony and Gloria Ingram, Joan Levin, Charles L. Prizzia DDS, and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Cherry.
