THE PLAYERS 2013 Tickets Now on Sale at Daily’s and Publix in Northeast Florida

March 28th, 2013 · Leave a Comment

THE PLAYERS Championship will return to the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, May 6-12, 2013, and now is the time to purchase tickets to see all the hottest players at golf’s greatest stadium. For Northeast Florida residents, purchasing is easy and convenient, with tickets available at 25 participating Daily’s convenience stores or 55 participating Publix Supermarkets along the First Coast, as well as online at www.PGATOUR.COM/theplayers.

THE PLAYERS has once again partnered with Daily’s to promote The Family Plan, which offers additional savings for families. For just $89, families receive two adult grounds tickets, unlimited youth admission at the gate and two $10 concession vouchers, a savings valued at $47.  Fans are reminded that all youth 18 and younger are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a ticketed adult – there is no limit. This means a family of five can attend THE PLAYERS, but only pay for the two ticketed adults, or a youth soccer team can attend with their coach and only pay for the coach’s ticket. And with THE PLAYERS new “Four for Free” parking policy (information below), a family of four (or more) riding in one car parks for free.

Practice round, daily grounds and weekly grounds tickets are available at the Customer Service counter in area Publix Supermarkets. Daily grounds tickets (Thursday-Sunday) are $58 per day. Practice round tickets are $15 per day (Monday and Tuesday) and $25 (Wednesday, which includes Military Appreciation Day and a concert performance by Dierks Bentley). Weekly grounds tickets are available for $150. Parking passes for Thursday-Sunday can also be purchased at Publix for $25 per day for the general parking lot and $45 per day for preferred parking near the Nicklaus Gate. Purchasing in advance offers significant savings, as daily parking passes bought in the general parking lot will be $40 (versus $25 in advance).

As in previous years, fans can park for free in the general parking lot and no special parking pass is required Monday through Wednesday of tournament week. New this year, fans with four or more guests in a vehicle can park for free Thursday through Sunday with the “Four for Free” voucher. Fans can go online to www.PGATOUR.COM/theplayers to download the parking voucher, which allows free parking in the general lot off of CR210. A new voucher must be downloaded and printed for each day, but there is no limit to the number of days guests can park for free.

Due to heavy traffic congestion on A1A Southbound, THE PLAYERS encourages fans along the I-95 corridor and I-295 beltway to utilize the “Recommended Route” via C.R. 210/Nocatee Parkway. This route approaches the parking area from the south and avoids traffic on John Turner Butler Boulevard and A1A.

More information about THE PLAYERS is available at PGATOUR.COM/theplayers.
