Time to Fall Back This Weekend

November 5th, 2016 · Leave a Comment

Don’t forget. It’s time to fall back this weekend.

Most of us will be able to get an extra hour of sleep this weekend thanks to the annual shift back to standard time.

The change officially occurs at 2 a.m. Sunday, but most people will set their clocks back before heading to bed Saturday night.

Residents of Hawaii, most of Arizona and some U.S. territories do not have to change since they do not observe daylight savings time.

This weekend is also a good time to change the batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. In addition to setting back your clocks, make sure your home and family are fire-safe.

Daylight savings time will return on March 12, 2017, at 2 a.m
