Destination Marketing Association International (DMAI) has approved Visit Jacksonville for accreditation as part of its Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP). This prestigious honor recognizes Convention and Visitors Bureaus (CVB) and Destination Marketing Organizations (DMO) that meet the highest level of quality and performance standards within the industry.

More than 2,000 destination marketing organizations exist worldwide, and Visit Jacksonville is now one of only 208 that are DMAI accredited.

Since its inception in January 2007, the accreditation program requires a DMO to successfully comply with a multitude of mandatory and voluntary standards related to the management and marketing of a destination including governance, finance, human resources, sales, communications, destination development and research.

Other DMAI certified DMOs and CVBs in Florida include Visit Florida, The Beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel Island, Naples, Marco Island and The Everglades, St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra & the Beaches, and Amelia Island. For more information, visit www.destinationmarketing.org.
