Amelia River Cruises Expands Fall Tour Offerings

August 30th, 2011 · Leave a Comment

Amelia River Cruises, Northeast Florida’s historic and wildlife sightseeing boat tour operator, has expanded its tour schedule for the fall to include the newly launched Eco-Tour and the popular adult-oriented BYOB Twilight Cruise with live, local entertainment. From Labor Day through Thanksgiving, the two-hour Eco-Tour will depart twice on Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The Twilight Cruise will be offered Friday and Saturday evenings from Sept. 9 through Nov. 26 and depart one hour prior to sunset for a two-hour cruise.

The Eco-Tour is led by a marine biologist and features the dragging of an authentic Otter Trawl, or shrimp net, which safely captures a variety of sea life from the water. Passengers view and learn about the catch before it is released back into the wild. The BYOB Twilight Cruise offers a relaxing way to end the day while enjoying your beverage of choice along with live entertainment against the backdrop of Northeast Florida’s rustically beautiful landscape and spectacular sunsets.

Eco-Tour tickets are $25 plus sales tax for adults and $15 plus sales tax for children ages 12 and under. Twilight Cruises are $29 per person plus sales tax and include two drink coupons that can be redeemed at local Fernandina Beach bars with the presentation of the Amelia River Cruises ticket on the night of the cruise. Food and beverage are allowed aboard for both cruises and people-friendly pets are also welcome.

Book your tour today by visiting www.AmeliaRiverCruises.com or contact Lori Hoerl at (904) 321-7372 or via email at [email protected].
