Demand for new homes is continuing to increase in Northeast Florida, according to Anthony Crocco, regional director, Metrostudy. Crocco spoke to the members of the Northeast Florida Builders Assocation’s (NEFBA) Sales and Marketing Council at this morning’s breakfast meeting at the University of North Florida’s University Center.

Metrostudy is a provider of market information to the housing, retail and related industries nationwide. Crocco is responsible for Metrostudy’s Orlando/Jacksonville operations and has tracked markets throughout the Southeast.

He shared detailed data on new construction statistics from across the Northeast Florida region. He expects that 2015 will be a “Hold on to your hat year,” and that 2016 will be an even stronger year for the new home construction industry in Northeast Florida.

The September NEFBA Sales and Marketing Council was co-sponsored by First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation and Davidson Realty, Inc. The Council meets monthly and its next meeting is Friday, October 17.  For more information on membership, the SMC, and NEFBA, visit www.nefba.com.
