HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is excited to welcome Jay Pettus as the hospital’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Pettus has more than 19 years of healthcare accounting and finance experience, including his most recent role as CFO at HCA Healthcare’s Oviedo Medical Center in Oviedo, FL.
“HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital provides outstanding care to the community it serves and has undergone tremendous growth in recent years. I am excited to join this organization as it continues to expand and grateful for the opportunity to support its patients, medical staff, and colleagues,” said Pettus.
During his 19-year career with HCA Healthcare, Pettus has served as Assistant Chief Financial Officer at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA; Controller at HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital, HCA Florida JFK North Hospital and Oviedo Medical Center; and Internal Audit Manager at the corporate level.

Pettus joins HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital at a time of extensive growth and development. Over the past 50 years, HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital has grown from a small-town community hospital to a large tertiary facility, offering high-acuity specialized services.
Pettus earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy from Belmont University in Nashville, TN.
