Springfield Preservation and Revitalization Council (SPAR) announces the 46th Historic Springfield Tour of Homes and Gardens taking place April 26-27, 2025 from noon to 5 pm each day in Jacksonville’s oldest neighborhood and front porch community, the Springfield Historic District.

The Tour of Homes and Gardens, presented by M&M Homes, brings over 1000 visitors to Springfield each year to explore the neighborhood and the architecturally significant historic homes that give Springfield its unique character.

During the two-day event, guests will find eight properties to tour throughout the Springfield Historic District including preserved historic homes, a historic bungalow court currently undergoing restoration, and garden spaces with live music and refreshments. Guests may check-in for the tour starting at the SPAR Building (1321 N Main Street) at 12 PM both days. Complimentary shuttle service is provided for all guests.

Tickets are $20 if purchased in advance and $25 if purchased the day of the tour. Guests receive a tour map and guide at check-in at the SPAR Building (1321 N Main Street). Guests with a tour map are eligible for a variety of promotions and discounts at local businesses. Guests may choose to walk, bike, drive, or use our complimentary shuttle service.
