This year’s matchup will feature a team from the SEC facing a team from the Big Ten. The game will take place on January 1, 2011, with kickoff at 1:30 p.m., and be televised live on ESPN2.

The Gator Bowl hasn’t welcomed a team from the SEC since Tennessee in 1994, and there hasn’t been a team from the Big Ten in this game since Michigan in 1991.
