Builders Care to Aid Jacksonville Man Whose Life Has Taken an Unexpected Turn

Builders Care, the charitable arm of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA), is preparing to renovate the home of Mark Lamb, 49, so that it is fully accessible, making it possible for the former mechanic to return home after he is released from Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital.Builders Care, in conjunction with the assistance of numerous volunteers, is planning to begin renovations on the East Arlington home, located at 702 Willoughby Court, beginning Friday, Sept. 16. Simons anticipates completion by Friday, Sept. 23.

Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce to Host Informational Meeting for March Trip to Spain

If you have ever wanted to visit Spain, the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce has a trip for you. The Chamber is hosting a week-long trip to Barcelona and Madrid from March 10 to 17. The trip is open to everyone interested in exploring the country and the Chamber is inviting the public to attend an informational meeting from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, in the Florida Room at the Jacksonville Marriott Southpoint, located at 4670 Salisbury Road.
