The event will be held at the WXYZ Lounge at Aloft Hotel from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and a $10 donation provides a wrist band for great drink specials on beer and wine, free appetizers, silent auction and admission to view a slide show about EPF.

Friday, Aug. 26Metro Jacksonville will host a Monster of a Pub Crawl in Jacksonville’s Urban Core with transportation provided by the Riverside Trolley. Crawl and trolley your way between some of the best night spots in Riverside, San Marco and Downtown from 6:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Choose your starting point at Jackson’s Grill on King Street in Riverside, the Jacksonville Landing in Downtown or Square One in San Marco. Based on a popular reality show, teams will go head-to-head trying to solve tasks and challenges. Participants can register online, and will meet at the St. Johns Town Center at 5 p.m. where they will board a luxury coach with other competitors en route to St. Augustine. On board, the adventure begins!  The coach is scheduled to return to the Town Center at approximately 9 p.m., or teams have the option to stay in St. Augustine for dinner and return at 11 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 27 – The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) invites food and beer lovers to raise a glass at CHEER, an upscale event benefiting the organization and celebrating the art of hand-crafted ales and fine cuisine, at Aloft Hotel from 7 to 11 p.m. Local and regional craft breweries will showcase their traditional brews, along with rare or limited-edition beers. The Art Institute Culinary Academy will be preparing dishes designed specifically for pairing with the beers on tap or featuring a craft beer in the recipe. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door.

Sunday, Aug. 28 – Everyone is invited to showcase their talent for a chance to win great prizes, bragging rights and a shot at stardom as Florida’s Next Superstar. The preliminary round for the 18 to 49-year-old age group will take place at the Jacksonville Landing on Aug. 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. Enter for your chance to win a 4-day, 3-night trip to Nashville or cruise for two, or just come out and enjoy the entertainment!
