A Prairie Home Companion coming to St. Augustine Amphitheatre

Lake Wobegon is coming to the Ancient City.

Fans of  A Prairie Home Companion with host Garrison Keillor can experience their beloved show during a special live broadcast performance from the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on Saturday, Nov. 13.

The show starts at 5:45 p.m. and goes live on National Public Radio at 6 p.m. Special guests include the Nashville Bluegrass Band and local legend JJ Grey of Mofro fame.

For those whom there cannot be enough time spent in Lake Wobegon, there is a special premium ticket that includes an opportunity to attend rehearsal and a fan reception between the rehearsal and the show.

Tickets are $35, $55 and $65 and available online via www.wjct.org, www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.

A Prairie Home Companion started production in 1974 and airs nationally every Saturday night from 6 to 8 p.m., and airs locally on WJCT Radio, 89.9.
