Tonight’s ArtWalk in downtown Jacksonville may be a bit chilly, but the folks at the Movember Jax chapter will be warming everyone up with mustaches – that’s right, mustaches! The Movember Foundation is a national nonprofit organization that runs the global men’s health initiative, Movember, which encourages people to grow Mo’s (the Australian slang word for a mustache) during the month of November to raise vital awareness and funds for men’s health, specifically cancers affecting men.
The local Movember chapter will be at ArtWalk tonight featuring a mustache-themed art show at The TAC Gallery II with work from dozens of local artists, hosting a bake sale with proceeds benefiting the organization, and letting attendees make their own mustaches at the Mo Station. To top it off, the Jacksonville Roller Girls will pass out free fake mustaches throughout the night.

F13RCE Dance – F13RCE Dance Theatre and Tribe-K Martial Arts perform “Courage,” a tribute to man’s strength despite adversity, at 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. at 111 E. Bay St. Studios
