March 1st, 2019 · Leave a Comment

The community of Beacon Lake welcomed approximately 1,500 homeowners, future homeowners and visitors to its recent Lake House Launch event, celebrating the grand opening of its magnificent Lake House Amenity and Fitness Center.

“We were thrilled to welcome a record number of guests to our spectacular Lake House Launch celebration at Beacon Lake, and we look forward to welcoming many back as residents in the future,” said Bruce J. Parker, Managing Director for BBX Capital Real Estate, Beacon Lake’s master developer.

During the event, Beacon Lake showcased its nautically themed Lake House, a community-gathering place providing plentiful opportunities for indoor and outdoor recreation and relaxation for every member of the family. Guests were treated to a celebrity cooking demonstration and tasting with Chef Tom Gray of Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails in the unique Culinary Studio and Demonstration kitchen. Outdoors, kayakers paddled past the lakeside gazebo while guests enjoyed live music by Firewater Tent Revival. Everyone enjoyed free food trucks and family-friendly fun including caricature and balloon artists, face painters, pirate entertainers and an activity zone featuring a mechanical shark, 27-foot inflatable slide, rock climbing wall, giant soccer darts and more. Shuttles ferried visitors to the community’s five beautifully decorated model homes by Dream Finders Homes and Mattamy Homes.

“We are overwhelmingly pleased by the enthusiastic response we received on our Lake House, community amenities and model homes,” Parker said. “Beacon Lake residents enjoy a welcoming neighborhood environment, coastal-inspired homes by premier builders and unique lakefront amenities.”

The Lake House is the heart of the Beacon Lake community. Anchored by a developing 43-acre paddle-friendly lake and nestled within 358 acres of nature preserve, the 8,200-square-foot Lake House is a gathering place for entertainment and get-togethers as well as a place for fitness and relaxation. The Lake House includes a state-of-the-art fitness center with cardio and strength training equipment, free weights, spin bikes and a fitness studio. The Culinary Studio and Demonstration kitchen is available for catered events and certain to delight foodies who enjoy cooking classes and chef demonstrations.

Outside, there are opportunities to cool off at the Splash Park, fun pool, junior Olympic swimming pool, or lakeside sand beach. Rent a kayak or canoe at the Crew House and explore the peaceful, natural beauty of Beacon Lake. Hit the tennis courts, kick around a soccer ball or play catch on the multipurpose playing field. A bark park offers furry residents and their owners a place to exercise, socialize and play. Enjoy watching the little ones swing, climb and slide on the pirate ship-themed playground. Stroll or bike miles of multipurpose paths and take a break at one of the thoughtfully-placed neighborhood stop-a-whiles to enjoy the community’s natural surroundings. Beacon Lake was carefully planned to feel intimate and friendly, making it an excellent place to live and raise a family.

Beacon Lake is within the St. Johns County Public School District and zoned for A-rated schools including Ocean Palms Elementary School, Alice B. Landrum Middle School and Allen D. Nease High School for the 2018-2019 school year.

The community’s builders, Dream Finders Homes and Mattamy Homes, are building homes featuring welcoming front porches and open floor plans. In Beacon Lake’s Phase 1, Dream Finders Homes and Mattamy Homes are offering award-winning, single-family home designs ranging in size from 1,600 square feet to more than 3,500 square feet, and priced from the mid-$200,000s to $500,000s. Five beautifully decorated model homes are open for tours.
