October 5th, 2018 · Leave a Comment

The community of Beacon Lake and its premier Phase I builder team, Dream Finders Homes and Mattamy Homes, were honored with two gold awards in the St. Johns County Parade of Homes. The awards recognized the lakefront lifestyle community’s designer-decorated model homes, the Boca II by Dream Finders Homes and the Cannon II by Mattamy Homes.

Hosted by the Northeast Florida Builders Association’s St. Johns Builders Council, the Parade of Homes is an annual event highlighting new homes in St. Johns County. At Beacon Lake, Dream Finders Homes and Mattamy Homes are building coastal-inspired homes featuring welcoming front porches and open floor plans.

“We are pleased to receive this recognition for our model homes at Beacon Lake,” said Bruce J. Parker, Managing Director for BBX Capital Real Estate, Beacon Lake’s master developer. “With award-winning home designs, family-friendly lakefront amenities and a welcoming neighborhood environment, Beacon Lake is quickly becoming the finest place to call home.”

Beacon Lake has five beautifully furnished and decorated models showcasing the latest in design trends by Dream Finders Homes and Mattamy Homes. The community offers residents the very best of St. Johns County living with a central location and top-rated St. Johns County schools. The thoughtfully designed neighborhood has multipurpose paths for walking, jogging and bicycling, and features pocket parks and stop-a-whiles for enjoying the community’s natural surroundings. Beacon Lake has an intimate and friendly feel, making it an excellent place to live and raise a family.

Anchored by a 43-acre paddle-friendly lake and nestled within 358 acres of nature preserve, Beacon Lake’s amenities make it a one-of-a-kind neighborhood. The graciously designed 8,200-square-foot Lake House Amenity and Fitness Center, which is slated for completion and grand opening in early 2019, will be the heart of Beacon Lake and home to fun and fitness. The nautically themed gathering place will provide plentiful opportunities for indoor and outdoor recreation – and relaxation – for every member of the family. Cool off at the Splash Park, fun pool, junior Olympic swimming pool, or lakeside sand beach. Launch a paddleboard, kayak or canoe and explore the peaceful, natural beauty of Beacon Lake while getting in a great workout. The Lake House will include a state-of-the-art fitness center with cardio and strength training equipment, free weights, spin bikes and a yoga studio. The Culinary Studio and Demonstration kitchen in the social room will be available for catered events and will delight foodies who enjoy cooking classes and chef demonstrations. Hit the tennis courts, kick around a soccer ball or play catch on the multipurpose playing field. The dockside Crew House will provide kayak, canoe and paddleboard storage and the dog park will offer Beacon Lake’s furry residents and their owners a place to exercise, socialize and play. Enjoy watching the little ones swing, climb and slide in the neighborhood park.

On-site amenities are just the beginning of what makes Beacon Lake a top choice in Northeast Florida. The community’s iconic lighthouse monument entry and exquisitely landscaped roadways set the tone for Beacon Lake. The community is within the St. Johns County Public School District and zoned for A-rated schools including Ocean Palms Elementary School, Alice B. Landrum Middle School and Allen D. Nease High School for the 2018-2019 school year.

In Beacon Lake’s Phase 1, Dream Finders Homes and Mattamy Homes are offering home designs ranging in size from 1,600 square feet to more than 3,500 square feet, and priced from the mid-$200,000s to $500,000s. Dream Finders is building on 43- and 63-foot-wide homesites and Mattamy Homes is building on 53- and 73-foot-wide homesites.

Located on the south side of County Road 210 between U.S. Route 1 and Interstate 95, Beacon Lake is near shopping, dining, employment centers and area beaches. For more information about Beacon Lake, visit www.BeaconLake.com.
