February 18th, 2019 · Leave a Comment

The community of Beacon Lake will launch its Lake House Amenity and Fitness Center on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festivities are free and open to the public

“We are thrilled to celebrate the opening of our magnificent lakefront amenities,” said Bruce J. Parker, Managing Director for BBX Capital Real Estate, Beacon Lake’s master developer. “Our Lake House is a spectacular gathering place, providing plentiful opportunities for indoor and outdoor recreation – and relaxation – for every member of the family.”

During the launch, tour the Lake House and enjoy a cooking demonstration and tasting featuring Chef Tom Gray of Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails in the community’s unique Culinary Studio and Demonstration kitchen. Outdoors, enjoy live music by Firewater Tent Revival, refreshments, lakeside views and fun. There will be family-friendly activities including caricature artists, a pirate themed fun zone, food trucks, giveaways and more. Guests will have the chance to win prizes including a three- or four-night cruise to the Bahamas aboard a Royal Caribbean ship.

Beacon Lake is a one-of-a-kind community where residents enjoy a welcoming neighborhood environment, coastal-inspired homes by premier builders and lakefront amenities designed to complement an active family lifestyle. The nautically themed 8,200-square-foot Lake House is anchored by a developing 43-acre paddle-friendly lake and nestled within 358 acres of nature preserve.

The Lake House includes a state-of-the-art fitness center with cardio and strength training equipment, free weights, spin bikes and a fitness studio. The Culinary Studio and Demonstration kitchen in the social room is available for catered events and certain to delight foodies who enjoy cooking classes and chef demonstrations.

Outside, cool off at the Splash Park, fun pool, junior Olympic swimming pool, or lakeside sand beach. Launch a kayak or canoe and explore the peaceful, natural beauty of Beacon Lake. Hit the tennis courts, kick around a soccer ball or play catch on the multipurpose playing field. The dockside Crew House will provide kayak and canoe rentals and the dog park will offer Beacon Lake’s furry residents and their owners a place to exercise, socialize and play. Enjoy watching the little ones swing, climb and slide in the neighborhood park. The thoughtfully designed neighborhood features pocket parks and stop-a-whiles for enjoying the community’s natural surroundings.

In addition to exceptional on-site amenities, Beacon Lake’s iconic lighthouse monument entry and exquisitely landscaped roadways set the tone for the community. “Beacon Lake was carefully planned to feel intimate and friendly, making it an excellent place to live and raise a family,” said Parker.

Beacon Lake is within the St. Johns County Public School District and zoned for A-rated schools including Ocean Palms Elementary School, Alice B. Landrum Middle School and Allen D. Nease High School for the 2018-2019 school year.

The community’s builders, Dream Finders Homes and Mattamy Homes, are building homes featuring welcoming front porches and open floor plans. In Beacon Lake’s Phase 1, Dream Finders Homes and Mattamy Homes are offering award-winning, single-family home designs ranging in size from 1,600 square feet to more than 3,500 square feet, and priced from the mid-$200,000s to $500,000s. Five beautifully decorated model homes are open for tours and more prize drawings during the Lake House Launch event.

Located on the south side of County Road 210 between U.S. Route 1 and Interstate 95, Beacon Lake offers residents a central location near shopping, dining, employment centers and area beaches. For more information, visit www.BeaconLake.com.
