January 16th, 2020 · Leave a Comment

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty recently brought a holiday glow to Northeast Florida neighborhoods while helping local charitable organizations. The firm’s Luminaria 2019 event raised $9,170 for local charities.

“We are grateful for the support we received from the community and we are so proud of our dedicated team who helped make our Luminaria a success,” said President and CEO Christy Budnick. “It was magical to see our streets lined with luminaria, bringing neighbors and friends together to enjoy holiday fun and cheer while making a positive difference in others’ lives.”

For the event, the company sold Luminaria kits assembled by Pine Castle and donated 100 percent of the proceeds to local charities. This is the fourth year Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty has hosted the Luminaria. To date, Luminaria has raised more than $70,000 for local charities.

Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Ponte Vedra, St. Augustine and Fleming Island neighborhoods took part. Proceeds from Luminaria support Boy Scout Troop 15 (Beaches office) K9s for Warriors (Ponte Vedra/Nocatee office) Blessings in a Backpack and Matanzas Riverkeeper (St. Augustine/Murabella offices) and Pace Center for Girls – Clay County (Fleming Island office).
