The company held Jeans Day fundraisers for The Donna Foundation

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty continues its long-standing tradition of giving back to the community during the holiday season. Along with Luminaria benefitting local neighborhood charities, company associates throughout Northeast Florida are supporting additional initiatives to make the holidays brighter for those in need.

“We are mindful that the holiday season is a season of giving, and it provides many opportunities to make a positive difference in others’ lives,” said Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty President and CEO Christy Budnick. “Our agents and employees appreciate our many blessings, and we are grateful to be in a position to help others.”

The company’s home office raised nearly $750 for The Donna Foundation. Founded by Donna Deegan, a three-time breast cancer survivor, the foundation provides financial assistance and support to those living with breast cancer. From October to December, the home office held Friday Jeans Day fundraisers, offering team members the opportunity to get comfy at work and support a good cause. The fundraiser drew tremendous support throughout the office.

Agents at the company’s Fleming Island office recently supported the Salvation Army’s annual red kettle campaign by serving as volunteer bell-ringers. Volunteering as bell-ringers is a tradition for the office. The red kettle campaign helps the Salvation Army assist families by providing food, shelter, clothing and other services to those in need.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty has a team of more than 400 real estate professionals in nine offices throughout Northeast Florida. The real estate firm has been recognized for its corporate philanthropy, contributing to numerous charitable programs throughout the year including Dreams Come True of Jacksonville and the company’s annual Backpack Challenge.

“We proudly support many wonderful organizations and charitable initiatives,” said Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty Founder and Chairman Linda Sherrer. “There is nothing more satisfying than the gift of giving back to our community.”
