Camellia at Deerwood Entertains Residents During Anniversary Celebration Week

September 17th, 2013 · Leave a Comment

Stars of the 1950s and ‘60s recently made a special appearance at Camellia at Deerwood as part of the community’s First Anniversary Celebration Week. The premier senior lifestyle community partied in style with celebrity impersonations by the staff including Sonny and Cher, the Supremes and Fonzie, among others. However, the real superstars of the community are the residents that call Camellia at Deerwood home.

“Our residents at Camellia at Deerwood are passionate, vivacious and a joy to be around, which makes events like this so much fun,” said Camellia at Deerwood General Manager Perry Brown. “Our team takes great pride in providing five-star service at Camellia at Deerwood so our residents enjoy the best that retirement living has to offer.”

The week-long anniversary festivities included many pleasant surprises for the residents, including a grand piano concert by Bernie Katzman and a belly dancing performance. The community’s lifestyle is energetic, engaging and enjoyable, which is why the occupancy rate has more than doubled since Camellia at Deerwood opened in August 2012.
