Camellia at Deerwood is now licensed to provide assisted living services within its already established, independent living community for seniors.

“Our five-star assisted living services are very flexible and makes it possible for residents to enjoy the Camellia at Deerwood lifestyle while receiving the care and assistance they need,” said Camellia at Deerwood General Manager Perry Brown. “Our professional staff is trained to provide the best service available, in the privacy of their own apartment, making life easier, more fun and more relaxing.”

Camellia at Deerwood went through a vigorous application and licensing process, which included state survey and regulatory compliance as well as training for the community’s staff and employees. Under the new license, Camellia at Deerwood can provide assistance with medication management, bathing, dressing, daily living assistance and more.

With the need for assisted living services on the rise, Camellia at Deerwood will have about 35 percent of its 185 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments dedicated to provide five star services. Camellia at Deerwood features a resort-style setting and residents enjoy numerous amenities including restaurant-style dining, a PrimeFitSM fitness center, transportation and a full calendar of social, fun and meaningful programs and activities.

“Our customized five-star assisted living services start with seeing each resident as a unique individual,” Brown said. “Everyone has different needs and desires. That’s why we offer an all-inclusive assisted living program that is tailored to each individual.”

Tours of Camellia at Deerwood are offered daily. More information is available at www.camelliaatdeerwood.com.
