Camellia at Deerwood announces its management company, Leisure Care, a One Eighty brand and one of the nation’s largest privately-held senior housing management companies, has announced a new relationship with Rosetta Stone. The partnership allows the company to provide its residents with access to both Rosetta Stone’s renowned language learning programs, as well as the company’s Fit Brains training program. Leisure Care is the first senior housing management company in the nation to make these programs available to its nearly 6,000 residents.

“We always strive to provide the most innovative programs for our residents, and Rosetta Stone is certainly in that category,” said Perry Brown, general manager of Camellia at Deerwood.

Fit Brains is a fun and engaging way to build cognitive stimulation in six major brain areas, including: Focus, Memory, Speed, Logic, Visual and Language. The games are individually personalized to increase the difficulty and complexity over time. With more than 13 million users worldwide, Rosetta Stone’s Fit Brains Trainer app has been ranked the #1 education app in more than 90 countries while simultaneously garnering high user ratings.

“We hear from people of all ages the common phrase ‘use it or lose it’ and we want to give our residents the most cutting-edge programming available,” said Clint Fowler, Director of Resident Services for Leisure Care. “Residents like the ability to tailor the Fit Brains program to their personal interests, and if they’re interested in learning a new language, Rosetta Stone is clearly a great choice since they are the leader in this category. It’s a win-win for everyone.”

Rosetta Stone has long been recognized as the gold standard when it comes to language learning, and will offer courses in more than 24 languages to the residents of the Leisure Care communities. This interactive program is a complete digital solution, teaching people to speak, read, write and think in a new language.
