Can you work a room? Is your networking paying off and turning into real business? If you’re ready to take networking to the next level, Flagler and Jacksonville Advantage Magazine have joined forces to host the first-ever Networking 2.0 event from 8:30-10:30 a.m. this Thursday, Sept. 23, at Flagler’s Deerwood South office park at 10151 Deerwood Park Blvd., Building 100 on the fifth floor.

The live interactive presentation will focus on common networking mistakes, getting networking to work for you, how to plan ahead for each event, and how to develop relationships and earn trust. The lively and fun presentation will teach participants how to translate “sweat equity” into real business.

The host of Networking 2.0 is John Bryan, known for his interactive style and abundant energy. Bryan has worked as a consultant and professional networker for more than 20 years serving clients such as Wachovia, Johns Hopkins University, JEA, WJCT and Vistakon. He helped Merrill Lynch Credit Corporation win the Malcom Baldridge National Quality Award. Bryan currently serves the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce as the director of Beaches Division and Chamber Councils.

Networking and check in for the event begins at 8 a.m. this Thursday. The event cost is $25 per person and includes breakfast. Seats to Networking 2.0 are limited, so register now at www.advantagebizmag.com/events. You can also contact Jessica for more information at [email protected] or call (904) 651-7976.

We hope to see you at this event fine-tuning your networking skills!
