August 5th, 2018 · Leave a Comment

Registration has opened for the Champions for Child Safety Pro Am Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament will be held Oct. 14-15 at The Palencia Club in St. Augustine.

For 21 years, this signature golf tournament and Pairings Party has helped the Monique Burr Foundation for Children better protect children from abuse and bullying by raising both funds and awareness. Proceeds from the tournament support MBF Prevention Education Programs, a series of comprehensive, research-based, primary prevention programs that educate and empower children, teens, and all relevant adults with information and strategies to prevent, recognize, and respond appropriately to bullying, cyberbullying, all types of child abuse and neglect, and digital dangers.

The Pairings Party is Sunday, Oct. 14, at 4 p.m. The Pro Am Tournament is Monday, Oct. 15. Registration opens at 8 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 10 a.m. This year’s tournament includes a $1 Million Shoot-out, six Hole-in-One contests and a pre-event Putting Contest.
