Maxine McBride, president of Clockwork Marketing Services, was recently selected to serve on the JAX Chamber Board of Governors.

The Board of Governors is comprised of about 100 members representing a cross-section of the JAX Chamber membership. The Board of Governors supports the Board of Directors as a work group to make progress on specific strategic initiatives. Members are selected by the Board of Governors Chair, subject to subsequent approval by the Chamber Chair. This year’s focus is placemaking in the area that includes the Shipyards property and sports complex in Downtown Jacksonville.

The 2017 Board of Governors Chair is John Peyton, president of GATE Petroleum. The 2017 Chamber Chair is Darnell Smith, North Florida Market President for Florida Blue.
