Colliers International Northeast Florida facilitated the $1.25 million purchase of a 3.18-acre land parcel for RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. The land, located at 9250 Merrill Road in Jacksonville’s East Arlington submarket, will be developed into an eight-pump gas station with a 5,400-square-foot convenience store.

Jason Ryals and Katherine Goodwin of Colliers International Northeast Florida represented the buyer. Buck & Buck, Inc., which owns the surrounding acreage and operates an office at the west end of the project, was the seller. The transaction closed on December 5, 2018.

The new gas station will be the company’s second location on Merrill Road.

RaceTrac currently operates 14 gas stations in the Jacksonville metropolitan area. The company has recently expanded its portfolio to include a new location at the intersection of Gate Parkway and Deerwood Park Boulevard, near the St. Johns Town Center. Another new store is planned for Mayport Road.
