Community First Credit Union Opens New Neptune Beach Branch

February 17th, 2020 · Leave a Comment

Community First Credit Union has officially opened its newest, freestanding branch in Neptune Beach.

Community First purchased the former bank branch and property at 1425 Atlantic Blvd. in December 2018 which underwent a total exterior and interior renovation to transform the branch into the credit union’s modern design.

The current in-line shopping center location of Community First at 1650 San Pablo Rd. has relocated to the new Neptune Beach location. The new building is about 4,000 square feet and sits on two acres. Renovations and remodeling adopted the coastal design and architectural features of Community First’s nearest location in Jacksonville Beach.

The improvements and expansion included adding an exterior tower, a feature in all its new branches. The location now offers members drive-thru teller windows and a drive-thru ATM, which the San Pablo location lacked.

The interior features a redesign for modern banking including an open floor plan, bright colors and advanced technologies. The branch experience includes full- and self-service and assisted service options. Specialized financial experts are instantly available through the credit union’s Expert Nearby solution.

The branch is part of the credit union’s Branch Transformation Project, the institution’s most aggressive and comprehensive branch and facilities upgrade and update in its history which seeks to align physical branch locations with modern banking needs and customer uses. TTV Architects designed the building and Auld & White performed the renovation.

A free and public grand opening event is planned for Saturday., Feb. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information visit http://bit.ly/c1-neptune-beach.
