Community First Credit Union has signed a three-year partnership agreement with Natural Life Music Festival as title sponsor of the annual event. The 2013 Community First Natural Life Music Festival will be held, rain or shine, on Sunday, March 10, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Metropolitan Park in Downtown Jacksonville. The stellar lineup of indie folk artists includes Martin Sexton, Field Report, Swear and Shake, Sugar and the Hi-Lows, and Henry Wagons.

“We are thrilled to have Community First as the title sponsor of the Natural Life Music Festival. The partnership will generate more momentum for this already exciting event,” said Natural Life founder and CEO Patti Hughes. “What started 10 years ago as a small neighborhood gathering has evolved into one of the region’s best family music festivals, and it will continue to grow and prosper in the years to come.”

The 2013 event will feature an artisan market, an arts and crafts area for kids and an array of healthy food vendors. The bands for this year’s festival were handpicked by local Jacksonville promoter Tib Miller of Flying Saucer Presents, who promises plenty of shake, rattle and roll for the whole family from this diverse Americana showcase.

“We are pleased to partner with this grassroots event that promotes health, wellness and community involvement, key values for Community First,” said John Hirabayashi, president and CEO of Community First. “Our organizations are in sync as to what this festival can become for Jacksonville – a destination event where the whole city comes together.”

The Community First Natural Life Music Festival is organized by Jacksonville-based not-for-profit, Natural Life for Children 501(c) 3. The event aims to raise funds for local charities benefiting children in need and will donate all of the proceeds this year to the Children’s Home Society Buckner Division.
